About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at LATINA MEDSPA CORP as a Medical Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in both front and back office settings, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient intake and maintain accurate medical records.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic clinical procedures and assist in minor surgeries.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Handle billing and insurance verification processes efficiently.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
